The BASW Diaspora Special Interest Group (SIG) is celebrating the contributions of all Social Work Diaspora members in the UK with their upcoming conference “Resilient Diaspora Social Workers: Surviving and Thriving in Challenging Environments.” The conference will take place on 10th July 2025 from 9am – 4pm at the University of Wolverhampton.
This is a hybrid event with in-person and online tickets available.
SWU is proud to continue its sponsorship of these groundbreaking Diaspora Social Work Conferences – the UK’s first ever – and is looking forward to attending. This year’s programme features a fantastic lineup of speakers, workshops, and information stands from the associations of different countries. It is promising to be a great day of exchanging of ideas, creating new connections, and finding out more about support networks.
