We are really pleased to announce the launch of informal get-togethers for SWU’s Union Contact (UC) members, building on the success of our earlier meetups this year.
Starting in August 2025, we’ll be hosting online meetups on the first Tuesday of every month.
Our aim is to create a welcoming space for UC members to connect, check in with one another, and share experiences from the workplace. Whether you want to celebrate recent workplace wins or discuss ongoing challenges, these meetups offer a valuable opportunity to hear from fellow members and strengthen our union community.
All UC members are welcome to join and we also welcome SWU members who are keen to find out more about being a Union Contact.
These casual sessions will alternate between lunchtime (1-2 PM) and evening (6:30-7:30 PM) to accommodate different schedules. The upcoming sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, August 5th (evening session) and Tuesday, September 2nd (lunchtime session).
