Stand Up! Speak Out! – free online training series

Stand Up! Speak Out! - Solidarity Knows No Borders Training Series

Join the third annual Stand Up! Speak Out!  A training series for resisting the Hostile Environment in Public Services (SUSO), running March-July 2025 online.

SUSO is a free, online training series co-organised by Social Workers Without Borders, Migrants Organise, and PAFRAS. It offers practical webinars to give public sector workers up-to-date knowledge of the rapidly changing immigration policy context and implications for their work. SUSO brings together specialist organisations and academics, and covers a range of topics that are important for social work practice.

This year’s theme is THE POWER OF WORDS:

“We want public sector workers (and others) to build their confidence and commitment to using the power of their words in solidarity and for justice; to know when and how to listen and learn from the people they are working with; and when not to share information.”

Please use this form to register your interest in the series: https://tinyurl.com/rsvpsuso2025. A full schedule of events will then be sent out to you.

You can read more about SUSO on their website here and watch recordings of webinars from the last two years here.
