SWU Annual General Meeting 2023
The 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Social Workers Union will be held online on Friday 29th September 2023 from 2pm – 4pm.
This event is for SWU members only. Entry to this event is FREE for SWU members.
Please be sure to register beforehand if you plan to attend.
Registration deadline: SWU members must register by 12pm (noon) on Thursday September 28th to attend this AGM.
As per SWU rules, the SWU Executive shall have power to make and provide a provision for AGM meetings to be held using electronic means, and to provide for electronic communication for members, including facilitating provision for members to vote and speak by appropriate electronic means.

Deadline for receipt of motions.
7 September 2023
Notice of any proposed amendment to rules given in writing to members.
14 September 2023
Deadline for amendments to motions.
28 September 2023
12pm (noon) deadline for registration to attend this AGM.
29 September 2023, online, 2 pm – 4 pm

Motions
Motions must be signed by 10 members of SWU and then submitted to the SWU Executive Committee by August 3rd, 2023.
Amendments to motions must also be signed by 10 SWU members and submitted by September 14th, 2023.
