As we come to the close of another year, we want to take this opportunity to extend our warmest Christmas wishes to every one of our members.

This year has once again highlighted the vital role that social workers play in supporting individuals, families and communities, often in the most challenging circumstances. Your professionalism, compassion and commitment have made a real difference to countless lives. Whether working on the frontline, in management, education, research or policy roles, your contribution matters deeply and does not go unnoticed.

We know that many of you continue to face increasing pressures, heavy workloads and complex demands. Despite this, you have continued to uphold the values of social work with integrity and care. For that, we offer our sincere thanks and appreciation.

As a union, we remain proud to represent you and to stand alongside you in advocating for fair pay, safe working conditions and the respect that social work deserves. Your strength and solidarity as members are what make our collective voice powerful.

We hope that the Christmas period offers you some well-earned time to rest, reflect and spend time with those who matter to you. For those working over the festive period, we are especially grateful for your dedication and service.

We look forward to continuing our work together in the year ahead, united in supporting social workers and strengthening our profession.

With our very best wishes for a peaceful Christmas and a healthy, hopeful New Year.
