Annual General Meeting 2026
The 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Social Workers Union will be held online near the end of September 2026.
This event is for SWU members only. Entry to this event is FREE for SWU members.
Further information and a booking link will be provided closer to the event. Please be sure to register beforehand if you plan to attend.
As per SWU rules, the SWU Executive shall have power to make and provide a provision for AGM meetings to be held using electronic means, and to provide for electronic communication for members, including facilitating provision for members to vote and speak by appropriate electronic means.
Motions
Motions must be signed by 10 members of SWU and then submitted to the SWU Executive Committee by 31st July 2026.
Amendments to motions must also be signed by 10 SWU members and submitted by 18th September 2026.
